Method Details

run

void run(DeleteType type,
 int count)

Emitted when the user initiates a text deletion.

This is a keybinding signal.

If the type is Gtk.DeleteType.chars, GTK deletes the selection if there is one, otherwise it deletes the requested number of characters.

The default bindings for this signal are Delete for deleting a character and Ctrl+Delete for deleting a word.

upcall

default void upcall(MemorySegment sourceText,
 int type,
 int count)

The upcall method is called from native code. The parameters are marshaled and run(DeleteType, int) is executed.

toCallback

default MemorySegment toCallback(Arena arena)

Creates a native function pointer to the upcall(MemorySegment, int, int) method.
