Method Details

run

void run(String text,
 int length,
 Out<Integer> position)

Emitted when text is inserted into the widget by the user.

The default handler for this signal will normally be responsible for inserting the text, so by connecting to this signal and then stopping the signal with g_signal_stop_emission(), it is possible to modify the inserted text, or prevent it from being inserted entirely.

upcall

default void upcall(MemorySegment sourceEditable,
 MemorySegment text,
 int length,
 MemorySegment position)

The upcall method is called from native code. The parameters are marshaled and run(String, int, Out) is executed.

toCallback

default MemorySegment toCallback(Arena arena)

Creates a native function pointer to the upcall(MemorySegment, MemorySegment, int, MemorySegment) method.
