    • run

      boolean run(Plugin plugin)
A plugin should provide a pointer to a function of either GstPluginInitFunc or this type in the plugin_desc struct. The function will be called by the loader at startup. One would then register each GstPluginFeature. This version allows user data to be passed to init function (useful for bindings).
      Parameters:
      plugin - The plugin object
      Returns:
      true if plugin initialised successfully
    • upcall

default int upcall(MemorySegment plugin, MemorySegment userData)
The upcall method is called from native code. The parameters are marshaled and run(Plugin) is executed.
    • toCallback

      default MemorySegment toCallback(Arena arena)
Creates a native function pointer to the upcall(MemorySegment, MemorySegment) method.
      Specified by:
      toCallback in interface FunctionPointer
      Parameters:
arena - the arena in which the function pointer is allocated
      Returns:
      the native function pointer
