    • run

      boolean run(Pad pad, GstObject parent)
      This function is called when the pad is activated during the element READY to PAUSED state change. By default this function will call the activate function that puts the pad in push mode but elements can override this function to activate the pad in pull mode if they wish.
      Parameters:
      pad - a GstPad
      parent - the parent of pad
      Returns:
      true if the pad could be activated.
    • upcall

      default int upcall(MemorySegment pad, MemorySegment parent)
      The upcall method is called from native code. The parameters are marshaled and run(Pad, GstObject) is executed.
    • toCallback

      default MemorySegment toCallback(Arena arena)
      Creates a native function pointer to the upcall(MemorySegment, MemorySegment) method.
